This is the second time that I will be going out of the country to do MISSIONARY CARE (MCare), the 1st one was in 2016 when we went to Cambodia and Vietnam.
The team is composed of employees of Asian Center for Mission (ACM) and members of Pasay City Alliance Church (PCAC) who were mostly part of the 1st trip and our leader is the ACM Operations Manager and Mission Head of PCAC, Ptr. Romy M. Fernandez.
Our flight is 6:15 am from Manila and travelled four hours but due to an hour time difference we reached Suvarnabhumi airport ,Bangkok at 9:15 am, Thailand time.

Mae Sot is a district in western Thailandthat shares a border with Myanmar to the west. It is notable as a trade hub and for its substantial population of Burmese migrants and refugees. The town is part of Tak Province and is the main gateway between Thailand and Myanmar. As a result, it has gained notoriety for its trade in gems and teak, as well as black market services such as people trafficking and drugs (Wikipedia) We need to travel eight hours to get there by VIP bus after travelling an hour from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok to Mo Chit Bus station.

“Glorifying the Lord Jesus and sharing the gospel of the Kingdom to many nations in Thailand-Burma Border by making disciples through free education, teaching English, putting up shelter houses and a Vocational Center to migrant children from Myanmar.”
This is the mission statement of four Filipino women missionaries in Thailand. This team of missionaries runs several ministries. One of their ministries is Faith Haus.
Faith Haus is a house for displaced and migrant girls from Myanmar who are at risk of child prostitution and child labor. Financial need for this ministry came to the attention of MEANS through this team of Filipino missionaries, with whom MEANS has a relationship with. Among the other ministries that these four missionaries run, is also the Elpis School, a Christ centered ministry which provides quality education, discipleship and livelihood training for migrant children in Maesot. There were about 29 girls housed in Faith House when we visited, ages ranging from 10 to 21 years old. The oldest Tsup is already studying in a Thai school while the rest are either in Elpis or other Burmese school.
The girls are doing daily chores such as cooking , cleaning and gardening.
We stayed there for 2 nights and three days. We had devotions for them for two nights and played . There was a role playing during the 2nd night of devotion and we were blessed with how the girls were so actively participating, one group had all the girls thinking of the concept to present and the guset are just pawns in the play.
They also lead the opening prayer and the worships songs.
